Owner of Action's River Fishing & Guide Service, Jack Kordiak has over 17 years experience as a fishing guide who specializes in catching big and plentiful smallmouth bass.  The pictures on this page and the home page are of Jack and some of his satisfied clients catching  beautiful 'smallies'.  His home territory is the Mississippi River from Elk River to downtown. Jack also knows many small bodies of water, pick your species and he will find the best spot. Artificial baits are normally used, but he switches to live bait in late fall to target large smallmouth bass when few others are left on the water.

Guided trips for rivers will be in either a 20 foot River Pro Jet with a 175hp inboard powered boat or for lakes in areas around the Twin Cities a 17' Monarch with a 75hp Mercury outboard. Both boats are in tip top shape, and are rigged for some serious fishing.  Jack will supply all the first class rods, reels and tackle necessary, but you're welcome to bring your own.

Rates vary according to time of year.
